– 250 ml unsweetened applesauce
– 1 cup filled to the brim with sugar
– 125 ml of margarine
– 1 egg
– 200 g of flour
– 100 g of oatmeal
– 1 tsp of baking soda
– 1 tsp of cinnamon powder
– ½ tsp of baking powder
– 2 pinches of salt
– 75 g of raisins
– 1 half cup of rum
The preparation of the dough for Delices and Gourmandises cookies with apples and raisins is quick and easy. Start by preheating your oven to 180°C before proceeding to prepare the dough.
Put the sugar, applesauce, margarine and the beaten egg omelet into a bowl. Work this mixture with the electric harvester at medium speed until smooth. Pour the flour and the oatmeal gradually then add the gruel, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder and salt. Whisk gently to remove any lumps. Add the raisins you have previously soaked in rum and dried in the dough.
Flour a baking sheet and place the dough balls collected with a spoon on it. Make sure to leave about 5 cm between them. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes and remove as soon as cookies take a nice golden color.
